Grief Survivors Therapeutic Network, Inc. is a 501 c 3 tax-deductible donation supported & operated organization founded in 2005 that`s supportive of grief and loss survivors. Our goal is to promote grief recovery and therapeutic healing in helping others help themselves.
The Grief Survivors Therapeutic Network, Inc. have a mutual respect for all survivors, participants, volunteers, staff, sponsors and all other supporters and friends.
It`s our hope and motivation of mind that our staff and board share our tools of ideas of success with others. We wish to address issues and achieve our overwhelming goal through vision, communication, caring, focus, perseverance, love, and faith.
Marie Johnson is President & CEO of Grief Survivors Therapeutic Network, Inc., a grief & Loss support organization that provides educational bereavement recovery services for individuals and families undergoing grief and loss.
GSTN, Inc. also provides referrals services to small businesses, corporations, and other non-profit organizations. Prior to her current position, she worked in the death & dying industry working in funeral and cemetery services as a certified family senior counselor in metro Atlanta, Georgia.
Marie is married and has two adult children. Marie finds time to work with community and church outreach organizations in the grief & loss field. She serves as Fundraiser & Event Planner and oversees the daily operations of the grief networks. Marie serves as an educator in the public and private sector.
To provide an atmosphere for grief-stricken and bereaved families of metro Atlanta GA . Promote healing and hopefully recovery through education, individual therapy, and group support sessions. Dedicated in assisting bereaved families mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and financially with resources made available to them. Network and contract with other outreach programs in reaching and maintaining our goals.
To affirm, uphold and embrace families as we would our own families as a human being. Serve as advocates, support outreach leaders and mentors for the bereaved, and emotionally challenged with the mental health professionals as needed. Assess, empower, inform, and educate the senior community about ongoing bereavement programs.
